In a way, I always knew this would end.
Our happy smiles of denial.
Forgetting and trying to forget.
The constant pain you put us through.
The sour water that dropped heavily from my eyes,
Wasted.
But it's not your fault.
According to me at least.
You just fell into "it".
The one thing that you couldn't let go of.
The one thing you seemed to love more than us.
Your own family.
I miss the way you used to laugh at my childish banter about movies I loved.
I miss trotting into your room in the middle of the night to sleep next to you because I naively believed that you could save me from the evil monsters in my dreams.
I hated the way you snored so; like a bear growls in the face of danger.
But as the years pass, I grow to miss it more and more, trying to replay it in my tired mind.
But then you changed.
Just like always.
With the bittersweet smell of "it" on your breath.
You said you loved me.
You still say you do.
The message is relayed from Her because I won't talk to you.
Even still you don't know why.
It makes me furious that you don't have the decency to say what I wish you would.
Not "I love you."
Not even a sincere "I'm sorry."
But I just wish you could look me in the eyes that you helped create and just for one small moment mean it when you say,
"I understand."

My World (A Time Revised)
In a weird way I always knew this would end.
Our happy smiles of denial.
Forgetting and trying to forget.
The constant pain you put us through.
On you I have wasted too many tears.
But it's not your fault.
You just fell into it.
Whatever "it" was.
I miss the way you used to laugh at me when I said something stupid.
I miss walking into your room at night and sleeping near you when I was afraid of my dreams.
I hated the way you snored but as the years pass, I grow to miss it more and more.
But then you turned into a stranger.
A stranger all too familiar for words.
You said you loved me.
You still say you do.
The message relayed from her because I won't talk to you.
You were my world.
The one thing I tried so hard to believe in.
But instead of protecting me from harm you were inflicting it.
A bruise here, a bruise there.
To my friends, I can't explain.
You were my world.
You've changed.
Does it sound choppy at all?
Is there any description I could add?

Shampoo
[Scene set in a hair salon where two stylists, BEVERLY and DEANNA stand behind two girls and do their hair.]
[BEVERLY and DEANNA grab the other’s hair and twist around for a few seconds before the flamboyant owner with a girly high-pitched voice, COURTNEY breaks up the fight]
[COURTNEY walks away. BEVERLY and DEANNA go back to their customers]
BEVERLY
So, what were you doing last night?DEANNA
What makes you think I was doing something?BEVERLY
Oh, I don’t know. Maybe the fact that you didn’t pick up your cell phone when I called you.DEANNA
That happens all the time.BEVERLY
Yeah. But you always call me back. And I recall you saying something about “plans for the night.”DEANNA
[scoff] I don’t remember saying that.BEVERLY
Now comes denial. [to customer] Hold this please. [hands girl a bottle of shampoo]DEANNA
I’m not denying it. Plus I don’t see why you care.BEVERLY
A friend can’t ask questions?DEANNA
Of course they can but I don’t see why it matters.BEVERLY
Fine. Whatever.[Short pause]
DEANNA
[sigh] I was out with a friend, okay?BEVERLY
What kind of friend?DEANNA
This guy.BEVERLY
[grabs shampoo from the girl]
What guy?DEANNA
This guy.BEVERLY
Oh my God. Getting information out of you is such hard labor. Would you please elaborate?DEANNA
Well, I met him at a bank. He was standing in the line and…. [to customer] lean back please. And as I was walking towards him, my purse strap came loose and all of the things in there went scattering. I was so embarrassed! He helped me pick them up and….oh, he has the most prettiest eyes I’d ever seen.BEVERLY
So, what’s his name?DEANNA
Dimitri.BEVERLY
[stops moving]
Dimitri?[stops moving]
DEANNA
Yep. Dimitri Higglebottom.BEVERLY
[turns to DEANNA]
What does he look like?[turns to DEANNA]
DEANNA
He has long black hair, blue eyes, a sort of smooth creamy colored skin. Oh, he is just the bees knees.GIRL #1
Um, ma’am? Are you going to finish my hair?BEVERLY
[completely ignoring the girl]
How long have you been “seeing” this…..Dimitri?[completely ignoring the girl]
DEANNA
For about…..hmm…..a month….maybe a month and a half. I didn’t call you back last night because I was out watching a movie at the theater with him. He’s so amazing, Beverly.BEVERLY
Yeah. How many Dimitris do you think are in this city?DEANNA
Oh, I don’t know. A couple I’m sure.BEVERLY
Well, how many Dimitri Higglebottoms do you think there are in this city?DEANNA
[laughs] Not too many I hope. That’s a very unique name.BEVERLY
My thoughts exactly. What would you think if I told you I happen to be dating a Dimitri Higglebottom with long black hair, blue eyes, and oh-so creamy colored skin?DEANNA
[turning to face BEVERLY]
Well, then I would say. “What a coincidence.”[turning to face BEVERLY]
BEVERLY
That is quite the coincidence, Deanna. It sort of makes me wonder.DEANNA
What exactly would that make you wonder?GIRL #1
I know I’m wondering if I can get my hair done before the next moon landing.BEVERLY
It makes me wonder if there aren’t a couple Dimitris in this town. And I doubt we’ll find another creamy skinned Dimitri Higglebottom.DEANNA
Well, what’s your point?BEVERLY
My point, Deanna Christie, is that we just so happen to be seeing the same Dimitri.DEANNA
How long have you been [makes finger quotations] “dating” him?BEVERLY
For two months.DEANNA
Well, I guess you couldn’t give him what I can.BEVERLY
What’s that? Gonorrhea? Lucky me.DEANNA
Don’t get mad at me just because you can’t keep a man.BEVERLY
I know I’m trying real hard to keep my pedicured foot from kicking your [stepping towards DEANNA] no good, boyfriend stealing, fake tanning, no styling ass.DEANNA
[getting in BEVERLY’s face]
Dimitri and I are getting married and there’s nothing you or your horribly pedicured feet can do about it.
[getting in BEVERLY’s face]
Dimitri and I are getting married and there’s nothing you or your horribly pedicured feet can do about it.
[BEVERLY and DEANNA grab the other’s hair and twist around for a few seconds before the flamboyant owner with a girly high-pitched voice, COURTNEY breaks up the fight]
COURTNEY
[pushing the girls apart] Girls! Girls! Girls! Control yourselves. We have customers. If you want to do your little catfight take it out of my salon. This is a happy place.[COURTNEY walks away. BEVERLY and DEANNA go back to their customers]
GIRL #2
It’s about damn time.BEVERLY
[cough] Slut.DEANNA
[cough] Bite me.BEVERLY
No thanks. I’m afraid I might catch something.DEANNA
I don’t see what you’re so mad for. It’s not like Dimitri was ever serious about you.BEVERLY
You’re right. He only dated me for two whole months. I forgot you couldn’t count.DEANNA
Oh, I can count. I can count how many times Dimitri has told me how pretty I am.BEVERLY
Men always know how to flatter a skank to keep her around.DEANNA
You shouldn’t talk about yourself like that.BEVERLY
Oh, shut up.DEANNA
I mean, why would Dimitri even want to be with someone like you? You lack all of the things a real girl should have.BEVERLY
Well, you should show me that real girl because it certainly isn’t you.DEANNA
You’re so bitter. You should be more like me; happy, nice, gentle, and beautiful.BEVERLY
Oh, at first I thought you were listing all of the qualities you lack.DEANNA
And for a hairstylist you sure do have really flat and mangy hair. Unlike mine. Shiny, tangle free, and pumped with volume.BEVERLY
[turning to the audience]
Tired of getting cheated on?DEANNA
Tired of being so irritable?[Customers stand up]
GIRL #1
Tired of going out to get your hair done?BEVERLY
If you said yes to at least one of these questions then you need [all girls pull out purple bottle of shampoo out of their pockets] Super Hair Deluxe.DEANNA
It gives you perfect hair after each use.GIRL #1
You’ll never have to go to a salon again.GIRL #2
You’ll never have to agree with your hair stylist on arguments she’s having with another hair stylist about a guy who’s been cheating on her with her sister-in-law who has really big breasts.[All girls stare at GIRL #2]
GIRL #2
What?[Girls turn back to audience]
BEVERLY
With Super Hair Deluxe…..ALL GIRLS
[at the same time]
Anything is possible!

A Time My World Changed
In a weird way I always knew this would end.
Our happy smiles of denial.
Forgetting and trying to forget.
The pain you put us through.
Too many tears I have wasted on you.
It's not your fault.
You just fell into it.
Whatever "it" was.
I miss the way you used to laugh at me when I said something stupid.
I miss walking into your room at night and sleeping near you when I was afraid of my dreams.
I hated the way you snored but as the years pass I grow to miss it more and more.
But then you turned into a stranger.
A tall and evil stranger.
You said you loved me.
You still say you do.
But you say it to her for me because I won't talk to you.
You were my world.
The one thing I tried so hard to believe in.
But instead of protecting me from harm you were inflicting it.
A bruise here, a bruise there.
I could never explain to my friends.
You were my world.
You've changed.
Our happy smiles of denial.
Forgetting and trying to forget.
The pain you put us through.
Too many tears I have wasted on you.
It's not your fault.

Amo/Omurus
Latin for Love/Hate.
I really don't know the point of this post. Just for ramblings sake I guess.
I want to learn Latin one day. I mean how many people actually know more than a couple words of it? Maybe some super smart guy with lots of time on his hands. Well, I guess I want to be that guy.
Hate
This is a poem I wrote for a poetry contest. I didn't win but I really like it:
Oh, there you are.
What do you want?
Why is it me that you always haunt?
I know you hate me.
Well, I hate you too.
I'm never good enough in the eyes through which you see.
I'm never good enough and sometimes, I think it's true.
I hate your glare, your stupid stare.
Those brown colored eyes.
That horrid mouth with which you declare one thousand weightless lies.
You disgust me and you know it.
Too afraid to let go of it.
I want to hate you.
It's something, sadly, I have to do.
I punch the glass and it shatters to the floor.
My hand is bleeding but at last I can see my face no more.
I hate you.
Oh, there you are.
What do you want?
Why is it me that you always haunt?
I know you hate me.
Well, I hate you too.
I'm never good enough in the eyes through which you see.

This silly blog o'mine
I've never had a blog before. Well I don't really count Myspace since i rarely ever write in that thing. I'm not all that excited since i'm probably one of the most uninteresting people alive (or dead). But to waste some space i'm going to go through some ideas for a play that's conveniently due this friday (2/8/2008) You know what? Scratch that ideas plan. I'd rather not display such crappy things on this soon to be very successful and funny blog......Okay, maybe that's a little exaggerated but I'll try to be entertaining ^_^ I guess for now i'll be done but I shall soon enter my World of MyCraft blog yet again. Au Revoir, Mes Amies :)
